1 box (15.25 oz) Chocolate cake mix
1 box (3.9 oz) Instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Vegetable oil
3 large Eggs
1 cup Chocolate chips (optional)
Whipped cream or ice cream for serving (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, instant chocolate pudding mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
If using, fold in the chocolate chips for an extra chocolatey experience.
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Spread it evenly to ensure even cooking.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Once baked, allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
