Ingredients
Scale:
4 cups All-purpose flour
1/2 cup Granulated sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons Instant yeast (1 packet)
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Milk
1/3 cup Unsalted butter (melted)
2 large Eggs
1 cup Fresh strawberries (chopped)
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
8 oz Cream cheese
1 cup Powdered sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix well to combine.
In a separate bowl, heat the milk until warm (about 110°F) and whisk in melted butter. Add the warm milk mixture and eggs to the dry ingredients.
Gradually add remaining flour, 1 cup at a time, until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle (about 15x20 inches).
Spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Top with chopped strawberries.
Roll the dough tightly from one long end to the other and cut into 12 equal pieces. Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
Cover with a towel and let rise for another 30 minutes until fluffy.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.
While baking, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Once rolls are out of the oven, let them cool slightly before spreading the frosting on top.
