Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and ensure your blueberries are frozen. This helps achieve the thick, creamy consistency we want in our smoothie.
  2. In a blender, combine 1 cup of frozen blueberries and 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk. Blend on high until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of almond butter (or coconut oil), 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the blender. Blend again until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is creamy.
  4. Taste your smoothie. If you desire extra sweetness, add a few drops of liquid stevia or a low-carb sweetener and blend again to incorporate.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately, or transfer it to an insulated container for a quick keto snack on the go.
