Instructions

  1. Begin by melting the dark chocolate. Place it in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted and smooth. Add coconut oil at this stage for added sheen if desired.
  2. Once melted, let the chocolate cool slightly but not harden. Using a spoon, coat the inside of silicone muffin cups with a layer of melted chocolate, making sure to cover the sides evenly. Reserve some chocolate for the tops.
  3. Sprinkle a tablespoon of the chopped pistachios into each chocolate-coated cup, pressing them gently into the chocolate to ensure they adhere.
  4. Pour a little more melted chocolate over the pistachios in each cup, covering them completely. Tap the muffin pan gently on the counter to remove air bubbles and ensure even distribution.
  5. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cup for a contrasting flavor.
  6. Place the cups in the refrigerator for about 30-45 minutes, or until fully set. Once firm, carefully remove them from the silicone cups.
  7. Enjoy your Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Cups immediately or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
