Ingredients
Scale:
- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour the chicken broth over the chicken, ensuring it is fully submerged.
- Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt. Stir gently to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add the uncooked pasta to the slow cooker. Stir gently to incorporate.
