A rich, creamy sauce enveloping tender ground beef and perfectly cooked potatoes, delivering a taste that's both satisfying and soul-warming.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound ground beef
4 medium peeled and diced potatoes
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.
Once the beef is cooked, drain excess fat if necessary, then add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the diced potatoes to the skillet, along with the salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine everything evenly.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
Once the potatoes are tender, stir in the grated parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into the sauce. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with more parmesan cheese or fresh herbs, if desired.
