A creamy and delicious shrimp dip that combines cream cheese with succulent shrimp, bright herbs, and zesty spices. Perfect for gatherings and parties.
Ingredients
Scale:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp dill weed (fresh or dried)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Tabasco sauce (or hot sauce of choice)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Beat with a mixer until smooth and creamy.
Add the chopped shrimp, lemon juice, dill weed, garlic powder, and Tabasco sauce. Stir until well combined. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
If you prefer a chilled shrimp dip, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld.
For a baked version, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for about 20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
Once cooked or chilled, garnish the dip with chopped green onions before serving.
