  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the breakfast sausage, Bisquick mix, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix in any optional ingredients.
  4. Pour in the milk, mixing until the dough holds together but is not too wet.
  5. Using your hands, scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball, about 1 inch in diameter. Place each ball on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space in between.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Once out of the oven, let the sausage balls cool for a few minutes before serving.
